Baseline Landfill Transition
As anticipated, the Baseline landfill reached its maximum capacity in July 2019. Now full, newly collected waste is transported to a landfill in Sumter County, making the local Baseline landfill a transfer station.
The Baseline landfill facility is now a transfer station. Our main office is now in the building also housing Marion County Utilities at 11800 SE U.S. Highway 441, Belleview. All non-assessed resident permits are processed from this office.
