PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE

 

Effective Date: 9/2/2015

 

 

Due to:  Main line shut down for hydrant valve repair

 

Marion County Utilities is issuing a boil water notice for the

 

Marion Oaks   Community

 

For homes located on:

13495, 13517 SW 88th Ter and 8836 SW 134th Place

 

 

There will be a precautionary boil water notice issued to your Community beginning at 8:30AM

 

9/2/2015 Due to: a main line shut down for hydrant valve repair.

 

The work will take place between the hours of 8:30AM and 3:30PM and will cause an interruption to your water service.

All residents must boil water used for consumption until the water is tested and results indicate your

water is safe to drink.  Water should be brought to a rapid boil for approximately five (5) minutes before consumption.  This boil water notice applies to any water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, etc. and is in effect until further notice.  Water used for laundry, bathing and/or showering does not need to be boiled.  Marion County Utilities will test your water and advise you when this boil water notice is lifted.
